Functional Medicine Package - $4,550

Get personalized healthcare through in-depth diagnostic testing, advanced bloodwork, and lifestyle evaluation. We start at the root with a comprehensive consultation, reviewing your health history, current symptoms, and lifestyle to identify which areas need deeper investigation. The findings from your consultation guide exactly which tests are ordered, so the diagnostic workup reflects your specific picture rather than a standard panel. From there, we develop your personalized treatment plan.

How Does Functional Medicine Differ from Traditional Medicine?

A functional medicine Doctor in Austin approaches health differently than conventional primary care. Rather than managing symptoms as they arise, it focuses on identifying what is driving them. The two models are not opposites, and traditional medicine remains essential for acute care. But for patients navigating chronic, complex, or unresolved concerns, a root-cause evaluation often fills a gap that standard care leaves open.

Research published in the National Library of Medicine highlights the limitations of the biomedical model in addressing chronic conditions, proposing an integrated functional approach that accounts for the full physiological and lifestyle context of each patient. That shift in framework is what separates the two models at a practical level. The table below breaks how functional medicine in Austin Tx compare across the areas that matter most to patients.

Patients who arrive at a Functional Medicine Doctor in Austin often share a recognizable experience: their labs came back normal, yet something still feels off. The gap between a clean result and an unresolved symptom is exactly where a wider diagnostic lens becomes useful. For those who have cycled through conventional care without lasting resolution, that distinction matters. It represents a different starting point, one that begins with the question of "why" rather than "what" and builds a care plan from there.
