Cancellation policy.
1.1. Patients are required to provide a minimum notice of 24 hours prior to their scheduled telemedicine consultation if they wish to cancel or reschedule the appointment.
1.2. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will be considered late cancellations and subject to a cancellation fee.
1.3. To cancel or reschedule an appointment, patients must contact Austin Medicine Clinic’s reception desk at least 24 hours in advance.
Late Cancellation Fee:
2.1. In the event of a late cancellation or failure to show up for a scheduled telemedicine consultation without any prior notice, a no-show fee of $25 will be charged to the patient.
2.2. The no-show fee will be billed to the patient’s credit card on file or added to their account for settlement during the next visit.
Extenuating Circumstances:
3.1. Austin Medicine Clinic understands that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Patients are encouraged to contact the clinic as soon as possible in case of emergencies or unavoidable situations.
3.2. To request an exception or discuss extenuating circumstances, patients must contact Austin Medicine Clinic’s reception desk promptly, providing details regarding their situation.
Rescheduling Policy:
4.1. Patients who wish to reschedule their telemedicine consultation should inform Austin Medicine Clinic’s reception desk at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any cancellation fees.
4.2. The clinic will make every effort to accommodate rescheduling requests based on the availability of healthcare providers.
Refund Policy:
5.1. The cancellation fee of $25 is non-refundable and will be applied to cover administrative costs associated with the missed appointment.
5.2. In the case of a late cancellation or no-show, refunds or credits for the missed telemedicine consultation will not be provided.
